Hey cleilson!

This is the newsletter you’ve been waiting for...almost 😀. We’re super excited to announce the Release Candidate for Ionic Framework V4 is here! And, we’ve got some great news to go over, so let’s dive right in.

Ionic Framework V4 Release Candidate

Ionic Framework’s V4 Release Candidate is finally here in preparation for the 4.0 Final release, scheduled for early next year. Not only are we excited, but the feedback from the community has been great. Just check out the love on Twitter! Be sure to check out the blog post for more details, plus what we have in store for 2019.

The First Look at ionic/react

We have Angular, we have Vue, and now we (finally) have the beginnings of React. This is a big step forward for us and is all powered by our usage of Web Components. This update is, for sure, one to keep your eyes on 👀.

Introducing Ionic Appflow

Many of you will recognize Ionic Appflow as an evolution of what was previously called Ionic Pro. This recent update to Appflow pushes our services to focus more on providing mobile DevOps and CI/CD as key use cases. Definitely a great upgrade for developers looking to better automate and manage their app building and delivery processes.

Edge Moves to Chromium

Does a browser’s engine actually matter? Well, we sure found out from the internet when Edge recently announced its move to Chromium. Some say this was a controversial move, so we, at Ionic, wanted to share our thoughts.

Ionic Team at NgAtlanta

If you’re in the area, a few members of the Ionic team and I will be at NgAtlanta. I will be hosting the session Fast PWAs with Angular & Ionic, while other team members will hanging out the conference booth. We hope to see you there!

And with that, we just wanted to wish you Happy Holidays and send along many warm wishes from all of us at Ionic. We’re grateful for each of you and can’t wait to see what 2019 has in store! Until then, happy coding!

Cheers,

💙
